Experience is helpful but not required for most Production Team roles.
Worship Team roles do require some previous experience/skill, and we do hold auditions for those interested in joining the Worship Team.

No. We actually encourage our team members to be intentional about taking weeks off. We firmly believe that a healthy rhythm of rest is crucial, and just as important as serving.Most team members serve on a rotation of some kind, and it’s generally based on availability.

When you’re scheduled to serve, Thursday evening for rehearsal and Sunday morning for both services are required, with some roles requiring additional prep or practice outside of our shared time together.

If there isn’t a zKidz ministry designed with you in mind, there’s a place for you to serve with us!

Yes. Attending our Discover class and signing our Membership Commitment are part of the onboarding process to regularly serve on most of our teams at ZCC.

Absolutely! We have team members who serve on both Worship Team and Production, as well as some who split their time in other areas of ministry as well.

Yes. Our role as the Worship Team is to direct people’s attention to Jesus. Auditions help us place people well and steward the platform we have responsibly.

You should be able to play or sing confidently, stay in time, and learn songs independently, amongst other things. Resources are provided regularly to set you up for success!

It’s certainly helpful, but we can and will gladly train people without prior experience!
