Big Ideas
We help create an environment where people can connect with God through instruments, voices, sound, lighting, media, video, cameras, and other technology.
Experience is helpful but not required for most production roles. Musical roles do require a certain level of skill.
No. We encourage our team to intentionally take weeks off, because rest is important. Most team members serve on a rotation, and it’s generally based on availability.
Sunday mornings for services and Thursday evenings for rehearsals, with some roles requiring additional prep or practice outside of our shared time together.
If you’re old enough to not be in a program within our zKidz ministry, you’re able to serve in most roles.
Yes. Attending a 90 minute Discover class and signing our Membership Commitment is a part of the onboarding process to regularly serve on most of our teams at ZCC.
Absolutely. We have team members who serve on both Worship Team and Production, as well as split their time in other areas of ministry within the church as well.
Worship Team (Musicians & Vocalists)
Yes. Auditions help us place people well and steward the team and platform responsibly.
You should be able to play or sing confidently, stay in time, and learn songs independently, amongst other things. Resources are provided regularly to set up the team for success.
Production Team (Audio, Lighting, Video, Media, Camera)
No, though it’s definitely helpful. But we can and gladly will train people from the ground up!
If you’re teachable, reliable, and willing to learn, there’s likely a place for you.
Next Steps
